Do I need to be technical?
No. Most of the important work happens before you build anything. You’ll choose the job, map how the work should happen, and decide what the apprentice needs to know. Then you’ll build it step by step.
Do I need both ChatGPT and Claude?
No. Choose the platform you already use or prefer. The method stays the same, and The Apprenticeship includes a build path for both ChatGPT and Claude.
What if I don’t know which task to choose?
That’s part of the process. You’ll start by identifying one recurring piece of work that is worth solving and deciding what should move to the apprentice and what still needs you. The Handoff Line helps you begin that decision before the course even opens.
Is this just a prompt pack?
No. You’re not copying a generic prompt and hoping it fits your work. You’re building a reusable apprentice around your own context, instructions, examples, standards, rules, boundaries, and review points.
What if the first version doesn’t work perfectly?
It probably won’t, and that’s part of the method. You’ll test it on real work, identify what is actually missing, change one thing, and run it again. The goal is not a perfect first build. It’s a strong foundation you can keep improving instead of starting over.
